What We Do:
Central Teaching
At our largest Bible study, we explore how the God is relevant to our lives, in a casual, relaxed, and friendly atmosphere. Questions are encouraged. People who have doubts about the truth of the Bible and its relevance are welcome. For meet location and times see Meeting Times.
Home Churches
Home churches are small, independently led groups (usually 15-30 people) that meet in homes for Bible study, prayer, team ministry, and the development of close relationships. Our goal as a church is to equip and coach an expanding base of these groups. For a schedule see the Home Church page.
Smaller Men’s and Women’s Bible Study
Some home churches offer smaller, more in-depth Bible studies for men and women. The leadership of the home church determines the format of these groups. To contact Home Church leaders see the Home Church page.
Youth Ministry
We have an expanding youth ministry including programs for children, Jr. High and High School students. The leaders of these programs are committed to making Bible learning fun and relevant for all age groups. For meeting location and times and contact information see the specific ministry page under the "About Us" drop-down menu on the home page.
Post-High School & College Age Ministry
Currently we are in the early stages of developing a ministry for young people beyond the age of High School. Our vision is to provide people in this category with a group of their own, where they can grow spiritually with their peers, and contribute the the church as a whole. Currently, this group meets on Monday nights at 7PM. Contact Jim Gifreda (513-314-3601) or Irwin Figgs (513-522-6543) for more information.
Classes & Seminars
Ongoing classes and seminars are offered to increase knowledge of the Bible and its relevance. For a current class schedule, visit our Classes Page.
Support of Urban Ministry
Xenos of Cincinnati supports several urban ministries including City Gospel Mission in Cincinnati, City Vision in Buffalo and Urban Concern in Columbus. Members are encouraged to volunteer to serve those in need in any capacity they so desire.
Support of Missions
As a church, we support world missions in a variety of ways. Many individuals in our church support specific missionaries in areas such Africa, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Russia. We sponsor short term missions periodically to areas such as Cameroon and Oyate Concern, in South Dakota. Currently, our church is supporting World Team, a mission-sending agency, through financial contribution. We also support Food for the Hungry, an international organization that aims to overcome all forms of physical and spiritual poverty around the world.
We encourage people to support the various ministries mentioned on this page in whatever capacity they choose. These are organizations that our church leadership has researched and are in agreement with their mission, strategies, and beliefs. If you would like to extend your support beyond these organization, Xenos Christian Fellowship in Columbus has also researched various organizations that offer humanitarian aid of a variety of types in various parts of the world. Please visit the page on their site for more information.
