Our Strange Name
Xenos (pronounced zee-noss) is a Greek word meaning “stranger” or “sojourner”.
Besides being sort of strange, our name communicates that God’s desire is to have a positive and life-changing relationship with everyone. A church should not exist to meet its own needs, but should reach out to others in love. “Strangers” should feel welcome, served, and accepted by the church.
Who We Are
Xenos Christian Fellowship in Cincinnati is an interdenominational church that is informal, progressive, and biblically based. We exist to help people have a life-changing relationship with God.
We began, in Cincinnati, in 1987 as a daughter church of Xenos Christian Fellowship in Columbus, Ohio. We are independent and self-governing, but remain committed to the values and vision of Xenos Columbus.
