Studies in 2 Timothy

2 Timothy is perhaps the most poignant of Paul’s letters. Betrayed, rejected, and facing death, Paul pleads with his closest colleague to carry on the work he had begun and to pass on the message of Christ undiluted. Timothy is about to be hit with a tidal wave of opposition, from which he must not retreat.
